Osmosis Treatment
A facial built around supporting the skin's own repair processes rather than stripping or over-exfoliating it. A sensible option for skin that reacts badly to more aggressive treatment.

Suited to Skin That Reacts
This treatment tends to appeal to patients who have tried the aggressive route and found their skin worse for it, and to those who have always been too reactive for peels or strong actives. Rosacea, persistent sensitivity, and barrier damage from overtreatment all fall into that category.
It also fits the preservation philosophy that runs through everything at Skin Conserv. Repeatedly damaging skin in order to improve it is a strategy with diminishing returns over decades. Supporting the skin's own function is a slower path, but it is one that leaves the skin stronger rather than progressively more fragile.

Working With the Skin Rather Than Against It
A great deal of conventional skincare is built on force. Acids strip the surface, retinoids push turnover, and the assumption is that visible irritation means something is working. For plenty of people that approach delivers, but for anyone with a reactive barrier, rosacea, or sensitized skin it often creates more problems than it resolves.
The Osmosis approach starts from a different premise. Rather than stripping or forcing, it uses ingredients formulated to support the skin's own repair mechanisms and restore function from within. Liposomal delivery carries actives past the surface without the disruption that makes traditional actives difficult to tolerate.
What a restorative, non-stripping approach offers skin that does not tolerate conventional actives.

Will this work as well as a chemical peel?
They work differently and suit different skin. A peel produces faster surface change through controlled exfoliation. This approach builds improvement more gradually by supporting skin function. For tolerant skin wanting rapid texture change, a peel may be more efficient. For reactive skin, or for anyone prioritizing barrier health over speed, this is the more sensible path.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients see the best results from a series, since the approach builds progressively rather than delivering a dramatic single result. Yve will suggest a course based on your skin's condition and revise it as she sees how you respond.
Can I use my regular products alongside it?
Sometimes, though if your current routine is contributing to sensitivity we may ask you to simplify it. Yve will review what you are using and tell you what to keep, what to pause, and what to reintroduce later.
Is there any downtime?
Very little. Mild warmth or light flushing can occur and settles quickly. Most patients return to their day straight away, which is part of why this suits skin that cannot afford a reaction.
Beauty should never be about changing who you are.
It should be about preserving what makes you uniquely you.
