Facial Mapping & Structural Assessment
A dedicated appointment to map the bone, fat and muscle beneath your skin before any treatment is planned. It is what allows later injectable and energy work to follow your own anatomy rather than a standard pattern.

Why This Determines Everything After It
Most disappointing aesthetic results trace back to treating an appearance rather than a cause. A deep nasolabial fold filled directly often looks heavy, because the fold is frequently the consequence of midface descent rather than the problem itself. Support the midface and the fold softens as a result. That reasoning is only possible after a Skin Conserv Architectural Assessment.
Experience changes how you see a face.
Decades spent observing how faces age, how patients respond to treatment, and how aesthetic preferences change over time shape the way every face is assessed here. Pattern recognition like this cannot be taught in a course. It comes from years of seeing what holds up and what does not.

Reading the Architecture Beneath the Skin
Faces do not age uniformly and they are rarely symmetrical to begin with. Bone resorbs at different rates in different places. Fat compartments deflate and descend on their own schedule. Ligaments loosen unevenly, and muscle activity pulls tissue in directions specific to how you express yourself. Two people the same age can require entirely different treatment for what they describe in identical words.
Facial mapping is the assessment that establishes what is actually happening in your face. Yve examines structure, proportion, the position of the fat compartments, ligament support, skin quality, and how everything behaves in movement as well as at rest. It is the difference between treating what shows and understanding why it shows.
What a structural assessment establishes before any treatment decision is made.

Do I need this if I only want one treatment?
Even a single treatment benefits from knowing what is actually driving the concern. Patients who ask for one specific thing sometimes discover it will not deliver what they want, and something else will. If you are certain about a straightforward treatment, a standard consultation may be sufficient, and Yve will tell you which is appropriate.
What happens during the assessment?
Yve examines your face systematically at rest and in movement, assessing structure, volume distribution, support, and skin quality, and documents it with photography. She then walks you through what she has found and what it means, which is usually the part patients find most revealing.
How long does the plan cover?
It depends on what the assessment shows. Some plans run over a few months, others are staged across a year or more where the goal is gradual structural restoration. Yve will prioritize what makes the most difference first so you are not committing to everything at once.
Can I bring old photographs?
Yes, and they are genuinely useful. Photographs from ten or twenty years ago show how your face has changed rather than how it compares to anyone else, which is the only meaningful reference point. They often help clarify what you are actually responding to when you look in the mirror.
Beauty should never be about changing who you are.
It should be about preserving what makes you uniquely you.
