InBody Composition Scan
A quick, noninvasive InBody scan that measures muscle, fat and body water rather than weight alone. It gives your wellness plan real numbers to start from and a clear way to see whether it is working.

A Minute on the Scanner, a Real Conversation After
The scan itself is simple. You stand barefoot on the platform, hold the hand electrodes, and a very low electrical current that you will not feel passes through the body for about a minute. Because muscle holds far more water than fat, the current moves through each tissue differently, and the analyzer uses those differences across several frequencies to calculate your composition.
The printout is only useful once someone explains it. Michelle, our aesthetician, personal trainer and wellness consultant, walks through your results with you, relates them to your goals, and uses them to shape your nutrition, training or wellness plan. Repeat scans every few weeks or months show whether that plan is building muscle and reducing fat, rather than leaving you to guess from the mirror.

What the Scale Cannot Tell You
Body weight is a single number made up of very different things. Muscle, fat, water, bone and organ tissue all count the same on a bathroom scale, which is why two people of identical height and weight can be in completely different metabolic shape. It is also why weight can hold steady while your body is quietly changing in the wrong direction, or drop in ways that are not entirely good news.
A body composition scan separates those components. Using an InBody analyzer, it reports skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass and percentage, total body water, and an estimate of visceral fat, the fat stored around the organs that matters most for metabolic health. It also breaks lean mass down by arms, legs and trunk, so imbalances between sides show up clearly.
What measuring muscle, fat, and water separately tells you that weight alone never will.

How accurate is an InBody scan?
It is a well validated method and very consistent when conditions are kept the same, which makes it especially good at showing change over time. Hydration, recent meals and exercise can shift the numbers slightly, so scanning at a similar time of day under similar conditions matters more than any single reading. It is not a diagnostic test, and Michelle reviews your results with you in the context of your goals and training.
Is there anyone who should not have the scan?
Yes. Because it uses a small electrical current, it is not suitable if you have a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or any other implanted electronic device. Results are also less reliable during pregnancy, so the scan is usually postponed. If you are unsure whether something applies to you, mention it when booking and we will advise you.
How often should I repeat it?
That depends on why you are scanning. During an active program such as GLP-1 care or a focused training block, every four to eight weeks is usually enough to see meaningful change. For general tracking, a scan every few months is often plenty. Muscle and fat do not change quickly enough for weekly scans to tell you much.
How should I prepare for my scan?
Come before eating or a couple of hours after a meal, skip exercise and saunas beforehand, and use the restroom just before your scan. The scan is done barefoot, so wear something that makes removing shoes and socks easy, and take off watches and jewelry. Keeping the same routine each time is what makes repeat results comparable.
Beauty should never be about changing who you are.
It should be about preserving what makes you uniquely you.
