Neuromodulators
An injection that quiets the signal between nerve and muscle, so the repeated folding that etches expression lines eases. It is dosed to soften movement rather than remove it, which is what keeps your face expressive.
Begin your Journey
A Preventive Tool as Much as a Corrective One
Many patients begin treatment before deep lines have formed, using smaller doses to limit the repetitive creasing that etches them in. This approach fits the preservation philosophy behind everything we do at Skin Conserv. Managing the mechanical stress on skin is far easier than reversing the damage once it is established.
Beyond the familiar frown lines, forehead, and crow's feet, neuromodulators can soften a gummy smile, relax a chin that dimples, refine a heavy jaw muscle in patients who clench, and ease neck banding. Treatment takes only a few minutes and requires no recovery, so patients across Park City and the wider Salt Lake City area often book it alongside a facial or skin treatment in the same visit.

Softening Lines Without Freezing Expression
Neuromodulators work by quieting the signal between nerve and muscle, which reduces how forcefully a treated muscle contracts. Lines that form when you frown, squint, or raise your brows gradually soften because the repeated folding that creates them eases. Lines already etched into resting skin improve more slowly, since those need the skin itself to remodel over time.
The skill in this treatment is entirely in the dosing and the map. The muscles of the upper face work in opposition, and weakening one without accounting for its counterpart is what produces a heavy brow or an unnatural arch. Yve studies how your face actually moves before marking any injection points, which is why two patients asking for the same treatment rarely receive the same pattern.
Why this remains one of the most reliable treatments in aesthetic medicine when it is dosed with restraint.

When will I see results and how long do they last?
Movement begins to soften around day three or four, with the full effect visible at about two weeks. Most patients maintain their result for three to four months. Strong muscles, a fast metabolism, and heavy exercise can all shorten that window, and your second treatment often lasts a little longer than your first.
Will my face look frozen?
Not when it is dosed properly. A frozen appearance comes from too much product spread across too many points. Yve aims to soften the pull of a muscle rather than eliminate it, so you keep the expressions that make your face yours. If you prefer a lighter effect, say so and we will adjust the dose.
Does it hurt?
The needle is very fine and each injection takes a second or two. Most patients describe a brief pinch. Numbing is rarely necessary, though we can apply it if you are anxious about needles.
Is there anything I should avoid afterward?
Stay upright for four hours, skip strenuous exercise for the rest of the day, and avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas so the product stays where it was placed. Small bumps at the injection sites settle within an hour.
Beauty should never be about changing who you are.
It should be about preserving what makes you uniquely you.
