Dermal Fillers
Gel injected at specific depths to restore structure and balance where volume has been lost. Placement follows your own anatomy, so the aim is a face that looks rested rather than changed.

Products Chosen for the Job
Hyaluronic acid fillers vary considerably in how firm they are, how much they attract water, and how they behave under movement. A firm, cohesive gel belongs deep against bone where it needs to hold shape. A soft, flexible gel belongs in an area that folds and animates, such as the lips or tear trough. Using one product for everything is convenient, not correct, and it shows.
Yve selects from a range of formulations and often layers them within a single plan. Because hyaluronic acid is reversible, there is a built-in margin of safety that few aesthetic treatments offer. We treat conservatively, review you afterward, and refine in a second visit if anything needs adjusting. Building gradually across appointments almost always produces a more believable result than trying to accomplish everything in one sitting.

Structure First, Volume Second
Filler is usually described as a way to add volume, but volume alone does not explain what actually changes in a face over time. Bone recedes at the orbital rim and along the jaw. The deep fat pads of the midface shrink and separate while the superficial pads slide downward. Ligaments that once held everything in position begin to loosen. What you see in the mirror as flatness, shadowing, or a softening jawline is the surface reading of those deeper shifts.
That is why every filler appointment at Skin Conserv begins with an assessment rather than a syringe. Yve looks at where support was lost before deciding what to restore. Product placed on the right plane rebuilds the scaffolding your tissue sits on. Product placed without that map simply adds weight, which is the single most common reason filler starts to look obvious.
What thoughtful filler placement can offer, when the plan follows your anatomy rather than a standard template.

How long does dermal filler last?
It depends on the product and the area. Firmer gels placed deep in the midface or jaw often last a year or longer, while softer gels in mobile areas such as the lips tend to fade sooner because constant movement breaks them down faster. Metabolism, activity level, and how much was placed all influence the timeline, so Yve will give you a realistic range for your specific plan.
Will I look like I have had work done?
That outcome usually comes from overfilling or placing product in the wrong plane rather than from filler itself. We treat conservatively and review you at a follow-up visit, adding more only where it is genuinely needed. Most patients find that friends notice they look rested rather than treated.
How uncomfortable is the treatment?
Most modern fillers contain lidocaine, and we apply topical numbing beforehand. Patients typically describe pressure more than pain. Areas such as the lips are more sensitive than the cheeks, and we take extra time there.
What should I expect afterward?
Swelling and some bruising are normal for several days, and lips in particular can look fuller than the final result at first. We ask you to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and heat for about twenty-four hours. Plan any treatment at least two weeks before an event you care about.
Beauty should never be about changing who you are.
It should be about preserving what makes you uniquely you.
